Swindon will be targeting a second successive win as they travel to Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

Town have never won at the EV Charger Points Stadium and will be wanting to discard that torrid record on the weekend.

Just the two points separate both sides going into the clash as Mark Kennedy’s side will look to register their first away win in 188 days, but how could Swindon set up?

Goalkeeper: Daniel Barden

Having signed for the club on deadline day, Barden struggled to get into the side but since starting in net against Tranmere he seems to have cemented his spot as the first-choice goalkeeper and has just kept back-to-back clean sheets.

Defence: Miguel Freckleton, Will Wright, Tunmise Sobowale

I think Mark Kennedy will set up with the same backline from Harrogate last week against Cheltenham. Grant Hall is ‘a little bit sore’ and made a short cameo on Tuesday so I don’t think he’ll be starting. The only possible change could be Harrison Minturn coming in, but I believe that the Irishman will stick with this back three.

Wingbacks: George Cox, Joel McGregor

I think George Cox will start despite Rosaire Longelo being fit again and with no Jeff King I believe Joel McGregor will start on the right. The young wingback was superb on Tuesday and was substituted on the 66th minute mark so fatigue shouldn’t be an issue.

Midfield: Nnamdi Ofoborh, Gavin Kilkenny, Sean McGurk

The same midfield that started on Tuesday I believe will start on Saturday. Only Sean McGurk played the full 90 out of the three so possibly Danny Butterworth could deny him his first start of the League Two season but following a great showing against Bristol Rovers it would be unfortunate for him to be left out. Gavin Kilkenny was replaced at half-time so it’s almost guaranteed he will start, whilst Nnamdi Ofoborh came off with 20 minutes to go but looked solid and could offer Town something different in midfield in the absence of Joel Cotterill.

Strikers: Paul Glatzel, Aaron Drinan

The forwards department for Swindon is quite bare at the minute with Harry Smith just joining training on Thursday and Kabongo Tshimanga being a doubt leaving Glatzel and Drinan to lead the line. The only other option would be either Botan Ameen or Butterworth but throwing a 17-year-old into the starting eleven is highly unlikely and I think Butterworth will come on up-front at some point in the tie.
