POTTERNE slipped up in their WEPL Premier One title chase following a four-wicket defeat to rivals Bedminster at the weekend.
Hosts Bedminster won the toss and elected to field but watched Jake Goodwin (67) and Tahir Afridi (32) put on 68 before the first wicket fell and 110 before the second wicket went down.
At 152-2, Potterne were looking well placed to set an intimidating target, however, the Wiltshire side ultimately ended on 181-7 after 20 overs.
Max Tryfonos (59) and Shay Sainsbury (77) helped Bedminster recover from 24-2, and despite a late wobble the hosts made it home with four balls and four wickets to spare.
Meanwhile, Chippenham continued their good form with an eight-wicket victory away at Thornbury.
Ralph Hardwick took 3-15 off his eight overs while the other wickets were shared around as Thornbury were skittled for 160.
Ollie Meadows (38) and Tom Makepeace (5) were the only Chippenham batters to fall as Azeem Ghumman (64no) and Graeme Van Buuren (39no) carried the visitors home.
The only game to reach a conclusion in WEPL Premier Two Gloucestershire-Wiltshire was between Burbage & Easton Royal and Frocester.
The Wiltshire side were bowled out for 139 in the 37th over before Frocester won via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. The rain came in midway through Frocester's chase, but the away team was already 67 runs ahead at the time the game was abandoned.
In the solitary WEPL Wiltshire contest, Corsham seconds beat Devizes by eight wickets.
Tom Andrew led the way with 61 not out for Devizes, but Alex Christopher's 4-28 blunted the host's attack and Devizes ended 126 all out.
In reply, 69 from Callum Sandell and 50 not out from Josh Stanley saw Corsham ease home.
