SWINDON-BORN Hannah Miley stormed through to tomorrow’s Olympic Games 200m medley final after an impressive second place finish in her semi-final at the Aquatics Centre.
World 400m medley silver medallist Miley, who is coached by her father, finished in a time of 2.10.89 behind Hungarian Katinka Hosszu.
The second semi-final was won by favourite China’s Ye Shiwen in an Olympic record of 2:08.39.
She swam the last length of the pool faster than American superstar Ryan Lochte during her swim for gold in the 400m individual medley on Saturday.
