MALMESBURY’S poor form continuted as they suffered their fifth defeat in a row on Saturday, losing by six wickets to Great Bedwyn.
Phil Jordan’s side won the toss and chose to bat with Sam Thomas top-scoring with 69.
Toby Horton made 44 for the visitors as Malmes-bury reached 193-8.
John Palmer led the run-chase for Great Bedwyn, with a knock of 72.
Rob Palmer’s unbeaten 58 and 45 from Chris Blundy helped George Stone’s men reach 196-4 with just one over to spare.
Malmesbury play host Marlborough this weekend while Great Bedwyn travel to Nationwide House.
