CHIPPENHAM picked up their sixth victory of the season with a 32-run victory at home to Ilminster on Saturday.
The hosts won the toss and chose to bat first, with opener Rob Woodman leading the way with a steadying 38.
Andrew Wilson made 28 while Richard Bates hit 23 for Chippenham.
However, Ilminster’s bowlers were on form, with Gary Larkham taking four wickets for 41 runs.
Craig Rice also took four for just 13, as Chippenham were all out for 190 in the 49th over.
Sam Spurway led the run-chase for the visitors with a knock of 66 but Chippenham’s bowlers proved just as deadly as their counterparts.
Lee Ward claimed four for 36 while Woodman also took four for 39, restricting Ilminster to just 158 and sealing the win for Paul Bates’ side.
