WILTSHIRE played Gloucestershire at Short Mat Bowls in Cheltenham.
On fast and tricky mats, the Moonrakers acquitted themselves well despite losing 25-15.
Pick of the bunch were the four of Tony Baldwin, Elaine Dolman, Trevor Dolman (Heywood) and Gill Willis (Westbury Blue Circle), who won both of their games by convincing margins and the triple of Di Sullivan, Pete Sullivan (Seend) and Chris Smith (Atworth), who won one and drew the other of their games.
Graham Cox (Blue Circle) and Geoff Lane (Crudwell) won won their singles games. The fours and singles bowlers also won their bonus points.
