CORSHAM suffered their second defeat in a row on Saturday as they lost by 22 runs at the hands of Bristol.
The visitors won the toss and opted to bat first, with William Rudge hitting 55.
William Tavare made 52 while Shazil Mustafa and Mark Hopkinson notched up 32 and 27 respectively.
Corsham’s Nick Harrison claimed three late Bristol wickets while Quasim Khurshid and Joseph King were also on target as they took a further two each.
The visitors were skittled for 206 in the 54th over and Corsham skipper Pete Dennett took matters into his own hands as he led the run chase with 73.
Sam Collier chipped in with a total of 67 but Tom Bowler was the closest behind with the bat for the hosts, as he hit just 10.
Rudge proved instrumental for Bristol as he claimed six wickets while Bobby Brown took three, with Corsham condemned to defeat as they were bowled out for 184.
