BIDDESTONE’S derby clash with local rivals Marshfield on Saturday had to be cancelled, after rain earlier in the week left the ground unplayable.
“We had the wicket covered but it was still soggy underneath when we took them off,” said Biddestone skipper Dwaine Perry of the Cuttle Lane playing surface.
Biddestone, who still top the table, travel to Stroud this weekend while Marshfield host second-placed side Gloucester City Winget.
