VINCENT Pericard hopes he has netted “the first of many” Town goals after finally getting off the mark yesterday afternoon.
The 28-year-old capped an impressive performance with a goal from the penalty spot as Swindon drew 1-1 against Qatar side Al-Sadd.
Pericard also completed his first 90 minutes for the club in the process.
The big striker signed from Carlisle in January, but a combination of injuries and the form of last year’s prolific Billy Paynter-Charlie Austin strike partnership meant his contribution was severely limited.
