SWINDON’S 2010 Elite League campaign continues when Ronnie Russell’s side host a powerful Coventry seven at Blunsdon tomorrow.
The Robins currently lie sixth in the league standings, but do have matches in hand over the teams directly above them.
Morten Risager partners Thomas H Jonasson at reserve FOR Swindon – with Jonasson having recovered from the painful tooth problems he suffered last week.
Their opponents sit eighth in the Sky table but do track a formidable-looking side.
The Bees’ squad includes Krzysztof Kasprzak, Ben Barker and Chris Harris in heat-leader roles, while the youthful British pairing of Lewis Bridger and Edward Kennett slot into second-string capacities.
Richard Sweetman is partnered by Pole Przemyslaw Pawlicki at reserve.
Swindon manager Ronnie Russell said: "We know first-hand what a stern threat Coventry pose after Alun Rossiter’s side notched a victory at Blunsdon earlier in the year.
"With that in mind, we’ll have to perform strongly from the outset on Thursday as we target maximum league points.
"I’m sure it will be another tough 15 heats of action. We need the fans be our eighth man on the night by creating a fantastic atmosphere on the terraces.
"Our late July and early August period will prove crucial in the final reckoning, but the play-off charge is on and we want our loyal supporters to be an integral part of it."
