WILTSHIRE'S bid for a place in the MCCA Trophy final ended in disappointing defeat at Corsham on Sunday.
The Moonrakers, hoping to clinch a place in the showpiece at Durham's Riverside ground next month, were soundly beaten by 82 runs by visitors Lincolnshire at Station Road.
Lincolnshire totalled 224-8 from their 50 overs and Wiltshire fell well short, collapsing to 142 all out inside 31 overs.
