Student Camilla Paget is having to squeeze her A Level exams in between playing in the British lacrosse team with an international fixture on Thursday and the world championships starting in Prague next week.

Camilla, 18, whose home is in Little Bedwyn is taking two A level biology exams on Thursday before being driven to Cobham in Surrey to play in an international against Australia.

After the match she will be return to Marlborough College where she will sit two A level chemistry exams on Friday morning before flying out to Prague the same afternoon for the lacrosse world championships.

Camilla took up lacrosse about seven years ago when she formerly attended St Mary’s School at Wantage where her two older sisters also took up the sport.

When St Mary’s School closed Camilla transferred to Marlborough College where she was able to continue to sport and be selected to play for the British team.

In the final in Prague which starts next Wednesday her first game will be against America next Thursday.

Camilla said: “We will be playing pool games and knock out matches and will definitely play a minimum of five.

“Although we are seeded third I am hopeful that we will reach the final.”

She is a sporting all rounder and said: “I love all sports especially lacrosse and tennis and I ride quite a lot.”

She is intending to go to Bristol University to read medicine but is planning a gap year first to spend time travelling.
