Swindon’s American football team Swindon Storm have created opportunities for people to get into the sport.
Whilst the sport could seem like a foreign concept, the leagues and clubs are growing and are welcome for anybody to get involved.
The Storm were crowned BAFA National Division Two champions after a successful play-off campaign in September.
However, the winners are recruiting with two dates in December to look forward to as they aim to sign new players ahead of the new season.
No experience is required and the sessions are free to attend, with all equipment also being supplied and you just need to arrive in sports kit and football or rugby boots.
For the youth team it is ages 13 and above, 18 or above for the adults’ squad and the women’s squad is ages 16 and higher.
If there is interest to get involved in what is a niche sport in the UK, you can get in contact here.
