Swindon Town will take on Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup Second Round for a chance to take on the best clubs in the country.

For the second consecutive round, Swindon will be facing league rivals in this competition as they head to The Wham Stadium.

Town needed extra time to make it through to the Second Round for just the fourth time in the last 13 years as Kabongo Tshimanga and Joel McGregor struck against Colchester United.

Accrington made this stage by defeating Non-League Rushall Olympic on the road in the First Round.

This means that these two clubs will play each other twice during November, with Town heading there in League Two on November 16.

Swindon have a reasonable record at this phase of the world's oldest knockout competition having made it through to the third round six times out of 11 second round ties this century.

These two sides have never faced each other in the FA Cup and Swindon have only won away against Accrington twice in their seven trips to Lancashire, including last season's memorable 4-3 win in which Town conceded three times in stoppage time.

The match will take place between Friday, November 29 and Monday, December 2.
