MELKSHAM Town booked their spot in the FA Trophy third qualifying round following a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory away at Bashley last weekend.
Richard Fey's men established a two-goal lead in the first half against their division rivals thanks to goals from Chris Zebroski and Sam Hendy.
Bashley wasted no time in mounting a comeback in the second period though, netting in the 47th minute to halve the deficit.
Although the pressure was mounting on Melksham, it took hosts Bashley until the 88th minute to find a second goal and force penalties.
But it was Fey's men who made it through to face Tavistock though after a 5-4 triumph in the shoot-out.
Bradford Town also relied on a penalty shoot-out to book their spot in the next round of the FA Vase. Following a 0-0 draw at home to Fareham Town, the Bobcats ultimately triumphed 4-2 on spot-kicks.
They will now host Laverstock & Ford in the first round proper.
The hat-trick of Wiltshire clubs winning penalty shoot-outs was completed by Corsham Town. After a 2-2 draw away at Brislington - thanks to a brace from Callum Demkiv - Kieran Baggs' men made it through via spot-kicks to set up a first-round-proper tie with Keynsham towards the end of October.
In the Hellenic League Premier Division, Corsham drew 1-1 away to Cribbs in midweek courtesy of a 95th-minute equaliser by Demkiv.
Elsewhere in the same division on Tuesday, Royal Wootton Bassett Town maintained their sparkling start to the season with a 1-0 success away at Thornbury Town - Alfie Presley's winner pushed Sam Collier's men up to third.
In Southern League Division One South action, Westbury United drew 0-0 with Exmouth Town on Saturday.
