Chippenham Town eased into the next round of the Errea Cup with a comfortable win at Bridgwater on Tuesday night.
Sam Allison, Aaron Cornwall and Mark Badman all scored for the Bluebirds, who were rarely troubled by the committed hosts.
Luke Gullick had the first chance in a scrappy opening, firing straight at Bridgwater goalkeeper Tom Manley and little football was being played.
At the other end, Dan Forward shot straight at Chris Snoddy but Chippenham's superior ability started to tell with Cornwall and David Platt given plenty of space down the flanks.
Allison saw one effort turned away by Manley but on the half hour mark Bridgwater took the lead when Iain Carr was caught in possession, Ryan King fed Tom Clarke and he beat Snoddy with an angled drive.
The goal gave the hosts confidence but right on half-time Cornwall's corner was lofted back in by Ollie Price and Ross Adams squared for Allison to equalise.
After the break Cornwall tested Manley and on the hour mark he made it 2-1 to the Bluebirds, turning in Gullick's mis-hit shot.
They then went further ahead 11 minutes later when Gullick broke free down the left and Badman headed in.
Gullick was denied by Manley late on before Bridgwater pulled one back with the last kick of the game when former Chippenham midfielder Ben Kirk volleyed in.
Chippenham: Snoddy, Adams, Etheridge, Price, Peckham, Carr, Allison, Badman (c) (Lye 88), Gullick, Cornwall, Pratt (Baker 80).
