Division One: Trowbridge-based The Ship FC are the outright leaders of Division one, Lee Hayward's side knew that if they avoided defeat away at Christian Malford they would move into pole position on their own as Potterne who they shared the number one spot with for the past week didn't have a match. The Ship won 6-3, but the game was a much closer one than the score suggests it was, the visitors to Upper Seagry started brightly and took the lead after just four minutes when David Percival's low shot beat Malford's keeper. Malford however hit back and thought they had equalised from a corner when a Aaron Merryweather header hit the upright and seemed to cross the line before bouncing out. Merryweather was soon to find the net when he beat two players before volleying home from inside the area to bring the scores level on 15 minutes. Play went from end to end with both teams going close. After 27 minutes Scott Cunningham capitalised on a mistake between two Malford defenders and beat the keeper from inside the area with a nice volley. On 34 minutes Malford were level again when fine work by Merryweather ended with Ship keeper Craig Brown saving, but James Pope was first to the rebound and slotted the ball home to restore parity. A minute later a fine run by Danny Amoroso down the right ended with his cross being headed home with a diving header from Toby Dawson to give the Ship a 3-2 lead which they held until half time.

Malford pressed hard at the beginning of the second half and had two good chances to level. The Ship however continued to be dangerous on the break and after 70 minutes went 4-2 ahead when Lee Hayward turned his marker and hit a fierce volley from inside the area. Malford however continued to press and five minutes later pulled a goal back. Paul Boorman's free kick was met by Ben Munns whose flick with his heel looped over the Ship keeper Brown. Although Malford continued to press, tiredness began to set in and on 85 minutes they tried unsuccessfully to play Ship offside at a free kick leaving substitute Tom Bonser unmarked to head home. Two minutes from time Lee Hayward was given space in the area and he completed the 6-3 win with another fine volley.

Atworth United came out on top in their local derby with Foresters Arms by virtue of their 3-2 success. Foresters took the lead after 15 minutes thanks to a penalty from Luke Turvey but minutes later Atworth's diminutive Steve Lye was brought down in the box and after Sean Fordham's initial penalty was saved by John Wiltshire, Fordham knocked home the rebound to level the scores. Later in the half Atworth's ability at set pieces was proven again when Ross Menghini knocked home an Ian Jeffery corner. Just before the break Steve Lye cleared off the line to prevent a Foresters equaliser. After the break quick thinking by Steve Peglar brought Foresters level when his quickly taken free kick fooled home keeper Joe Menghini who was arranging his defensive wall. Atworth continued to dominate and substitute Sean Kerslake was prominent in some attractive forward play. The game was settled 15 minutes from time when Ross Menghini embarked on a mazy run leaving no less than four Foresters defenders in his wake before he coolly slotted home to give Atworth a well deserved two points. The gloss on Atworth's victory was taken away when centre half Ashley Wheeler was taken to hospital by ambulance following a neck injury five minutes from time but luckily for Wheeler there were no serious complications and he was released from hospital having been diagnosed with mild concussion and a sprained neck.

Jekyll and Hyde Biddestone Arms put in a sterling performance away to AFC Calne to clinch a much needed 1-0 win. In atrocious conditions Biddestone played the better football in an evenly matched first half but failed to make any impact on the Calne goal. In fact it was the hosts who went closest to breaking the deadlock when Steve Allison's header cannoned of the woodwork. That chance aside, the Biddestone defence comfortably contained Calne's strikers and the Arms were left frustrated with a first half stalemate. With the pitch rapidly deteriorating the second half saw less attractive football but Biddestone's determination paid dividends as they finally breached the Calne defence. Chris Mochan, who was instrumental at right wing back, found Jack Goodship on the right wing who lofted in a perfect cross towards striker Rich Chaffey. The evergreen forward still had plenty of work to do and controlled the ball beautifully before sliding it beyond the onrushing Calne keeper Aaron Ward to make it one-nil. After the goal Callum Hindle went close to sealing the contest for Biddestone, but failed to beat Ward from 10 yards. Nonetheless, the Arms held on for the two points. Biddestone Player Manager Danny Box was delighted with his team's display and will be hoping they can put in performances of this nature week in week out.

Jason Bull was a happy man at Kingfisher FC as his first official game in charge of the club resulted in the Chippenham based side picking up their first victory of the season courtesy of their 6-1 victory over Coyote FC who played the whole game with 10 men. Nick Still and Steve Carwithen bout bagged doubles for the Fisher, with Simon Brothwell and Jason Cole added singles to make up the half dozen. Tarick Yachou was Coyote's lone marksman.

North Bradley may have lost 5-2 away at Rowde whose win moved them into third place in the table, but the result was rather flattering for the victors who were lucky that they face a Bradley side who were missing a few players due to injuries and suspensions and had they been at full strength the result of the match might have been a different one. Jamie Mullings and Marcus Wallen's goals helped Rowde to a 2-1 half time lead with Stuart Powell replying for Bradley. Marcus Wallen, Jamie Mullings and Sam Weller scored second half goals to make up Rowde's quintet and it was Powell who scored Bradley's second of the game.

Second placed Potterne were due to play British Lion FC but due to injuries and two group's of players from the Lion going away for the weekend the match had to be postponed.
