Premier Division: Westbury Rangers A won't know until the end of the season if their 2-2 draw away at the Dog & Fox Ashley will be viewed as a point dropped or won as Shaun Gardiner's side had to battle back from two goals before they claimed a share of the spoils. The Robson Taylor Chippenham League Premier division leaders, who lost for the first time last Sunday were on the brink of a second defeat after goals from Dan Cottrell and Dan Fowler had put the hosts 2-0 ahead. Cottrell opened the scoring on 20 minutes as the Dog were rewarded for their early dominance, The Dog had to wait until the 50th minutes before Fowler added number two. Rangers who were on top at this stage battled back and through Marc Lanfear halved the deficit on the hour mark. 15 minutes from time Rangers squared things up, thanks to Lanfear's second of the match. Rangers though that they had actually completed an amazing comeback when Paul Beavers drilled the ball home, but only the referee's whistle for full time denied him what would have been a brilliant winner.

Defending champions Corsham Centre A put in a good solid all round display to beat Miller Sports 10-0. The Centre took the lead in the fourth minute when Simon Gray volleyed them in front. Goals followed at regular intervals, with Gray scoring two more to complete his hat trick, Kris Davis (two) and James Lye all netted to give the Centre a 6-0 half time lead. Five minutes into the second half Daniel Young playing his first full 90 minutes for the Centre set up James Lye for his second, and audacious chip from Lye saw him obtain his second hat trick of the weekend after his treble for Corsham Town against Odd Down. Shane Godsell scored number nine and Davis scored the 10th making this the third player score a three timer in the game. On 70 minutes Miller replaced goalkeeper Tim Knight with Alex Coombes and they continued to battle valiantly for the final stages of the game and to the credit denied the Centre further goals.

Winsley used their get of jail free card against their fierce Bradford News as they turned a position of certain defeat into a winning one as their smash and grab tactics saw them come from 2-1 down with just three minutes left to win 3-2. Harry Hamlin put the Newsmen ahead and when the same player scored from the penalty spot after Mark Maguire had been fouled Mark Hurkett's side look on course for their first win of the campaign. Bradford were unable to hold out until the half time break and a foul on Mike Little led to Dean Ranger reduced the gap from the penalty spot. Bradford should have been out of sight of their guests and only a number of superb saves from the visitors keeper Adam Shepperd and poor finishing from the newsmen kept Winsley in the contest. This was to come back an haunt the hosts on 87 minutes when a piece of individual magic from Mike Little saw his run though Bradford defence and finish well and tie the scores. With time running out all the newsmen had to do was keep the ball and they would have shared the spoils, but inexperience in Hurkett's side saw them give the ball away and a great move between Dean Ranger and Dan Kovacs resulted in Mike Little scoring what proved to be the winner in the 89th minute, to break the hearts of a spirited Bradford side who had been the better team for long periods in the game.

Maud Heath Sports away day blues continued, the Sports have lost just once at home but the Calne based team have failed to picked up a point from any of their four matches on the road this season and despite drawing first blood against their hosts FC Colerne they slumped to a 4-1 defeat to extend their winless run away form home to eight matches. Neurin Jones may have given Maud Heath the lead, but a battling Colerne side then managed to claim the ascendancy for much of the game. Colerne had a loud shout for a penalty waved away after what looked to be a blatant handball in the box. Five minutes prior to half time Colerne were rewarded for their efforts when Mark Kibby headed on a long clearance from Colerne keeper Guy Chamberlain, Jamie Bowler picked up the ball and rounded the last defender and slid it beyond the Maud Heath keeper to make it one apiece. Colerne came out for the second half with their tails up. They took the lead when Mark Kibby rose at the far post to head home a vicious free kick from Jamie Bowler. Colerne were now rampant with Craig Aitcheson adding two more goals after good work from Charlie Spirrell. Colerne can thank their midfield domination from Dave Leask and Ross Hall for their win with Ross Hall getting MOM.

The last time Semington Rovers and North Star A met it was as first division teams and on that occasion back in May, Semington's 2-1 success earned them the title and resigned the Star to the runners up spot. The first meeting of the sides in the top flight went the way of Semington who secured a 3-0 victory, which moved them into seventh spot in the table. North Star's keeper Jamie Bartlett may have been beaten three times but if it hadn't been for his heroics between the posts Allan Clarke's Semington side could well have scored a few more goals. Bartlett may have been in inspired form but he could prevent Stuart Barber from putting Semington in front on 30 minutes when he converted from the penalty spot. Five minutes later Barber doubled Semington's advantage when he met Lee Jackson cross to find the net from the acutest of angles. Bobby Mitchell sealed the points and Semington's third win of the season when he fired home number three in the 70th minute with the help on a deflection off Jeremy Spruse.
