Wiltshire swimmers have won promotion to Division One after a victory at the National County Teams Wiltshire looked set to be in the top four counties who would be promoted, but needed impressive finishes to secure the title.
They won the canon relay with Carlin in 27.87secs followed by Aaron Lee (24.90secs), Stephanie Bremner (29.27secs) and Liam Herbert (26.45secs).
Tigersharks' Sophie Hawkins recorded a time of 27.21secs to drag the team into 2nd position but still well behind the leaders Leicestershire.
Alexander Jones from the Tigersharks powered his way down the pool to overhaul the Leicestershire swimmer and take first place in a split time of 24.11secs in the final race.
Notable swims came from Adam Davidson of Salisbury and Myles Hickman from Corsham who both reduced their 100m breaststroke times by over four seconds.
