Adie is taking a well earned break this week before our FA Cup game with Horsham on Saturday, so he's handed the reigns over to me.
Obviously the FA Cup captures a lot of people's imagination but we cannot get carried away.
We know Horsham are a good team, we've had them looked at - Adie is very thorough and he gets reports on most teams.
We are confident because our players are young lads and doing exactly what we ask them to do - but Horsham are fourth in the Isthmian League and we cannot take anything for granted.
There has been no talk about the match from the players and they are treating it as another game.
But there is a big buzz from the fans about it and we are hoping for a big crowd, the bigger the better.
They are one reason the lads want to play - they don't want to let the supporters down and they haven't.
It also works the other way, the fans have been brilliant this season and we have noticed there has been even more noise recently.
With the support and the way we are playing, things are snowballing and it is very enjoyable to be part of it.
Personally, I am enjoying it, though I was a bit sceptical about joining in the summer because I'd already had a lot of clubs and have got a young family.
But I didn't take much convincing and I am so glad I'm here because I'd be regretting it now if I wasn't.
Everything is going better than we had expected and the boys have gelled very, very well.
The coaching staff set a standard which we expect them to reach but the players have their own standards, which are very, very high.
Now we know they can do it regularly then there is no reason why they have to accept nothing less.
Jake Reid looks like a different player after his rest - that is down to Adie's man management - and Aaron Cornwall and David Pratt look like they could run all day.
Even with our captain Iain Harvey and Sean Seavill injury, along with Kye Holly's suspension in the 3-0 FA Trophy win over Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday we have got a great squad.
Harvs is going to be another two weeks but there is better news for Sean.
He has responded really well to treatment and his knee is really improving.
Saturday will come a little too soon for him but maybe the week after against Heybridge Swifts, we'll see.
