SWINDON achieved their third win of the season, defeating Slough 26-16 at home.
The Greenbridge Road side had to absorb some pressure from the visitors at the start of the game, but went ahead after 15 minutes with a try from Jack Badminton.
However, soon after some sloppy play allowed the Slough in for a converted try and Swindon were 7-5 down.
On 20 minutes fly-half Frazer Brown had to leave the field with a leg injury and this allowed the return of Stuart Cock at full-back, with Nathan Whaite moving to the number 10 slot.
Just before half-time Swindon's Andy Morley powered his way over for a try, which Whaite converted.
And 10 minutes into the second half Badminton added to his tally aa Swindon extended their lead to 17-7.
Matt Ward followed on with another try soon after, with a lovely piece of running from deep that sliced open the Slough defence.
Late on Slough got back into it and managed to claw back some points, but the result was never really in doubt as Swindon recorded an impressive win.
