Division Two
Second division, heavyweights Crown Cosmos and Cooper Avon locked horns at The Conigre, Melksham and a pulsating match between the first and second placed sides who prior to kick off had scored 54 times between them somehow finished in a goalless draw.
There was nothing boring about the game, which flowed from end to end with both defensives being on top throughout.
Cooper dominated the first 25 minutes but were unable to create an opening with Simeon Mills going closest to braking the deadlock for the tryemen, when his shot was well saved by Paul Clarke in the Cosmos goal.
Cosmos gained the upper hand in the second half and while Copper had a couple of half chances to score the clearest opportunities of finding a winner fell to Cosmos, Nathan Sheridan who had a effort cleared of the line and another one brilliantly saved by Avon's keeper Alex Shaftoe to kept the score at 0-0.
Chippenham Police were forced to postpone their match against Sutton Benger, due to work commitments and an ever-increasing list of injuries.
