Leaders Westbury Rangers A suffered their first defeat of the season when they lost 4-3 away at Box Rovers who clawed their way back from being 3-1 down with just 15 minutes remaining to snatch a thrilling victory.
Rangers who had won their previous six games looked on course for a seventh success after Pete Ayton had given the ma first half lead from the penalty spot.
The second period saw Rovers hit back to square things up with Pete Tye scoring, Rangers regained the lead courtesy of a stunning 25 yarder from Mark Young.
A second penalty of the match from Pete Ayton put Rangers 3-1 up and the points looked to be heading their way. Rovers showed what they were made of as they dug deep and battled their way back into the game with Adam Taylor reducing the arrears.
Tom Smith levelled the score for Rovers when he tucked away the third penalty of the game and Smith won the match for Rovers when he drilled home an free kick from 18 yards.
Biddestone Social defeated their old adversaries Winsley 4-2 but the winning margin should have been greater as Biddestone bossed 90 per cent of the game.
Both teams were under strength, and when Gary Banks volleyed home a Mike Few cross on four minutes it looked as if Biddy were about to take Winsley apart, but it wasn't to be as Winsley were next to score but their equaliser didn't arrive until the 61st minute when Dan Kovacs levelled matters.
Biddestone regained the lead on 63 minutes when Gary Blackwood powerful header from a Stuart Wilson corner made it 2-1 and five minute later Jamie Lyons picked up a loose ball and fired Biddy into a 3-1 lead. Biddestone's fourth arrived on 73 minutes, an excellent through ball from Mark Jennings found Gary Banks who slid the ball past the advancing keeper to seal the victory.
There was still time for Winsley to score again, and for the second time in the match Dan Kovacs for the net for the villagers but it proved only to be another consolation.
Dog & Fox Ashley collected their third victory of the season at the expense of North Star A who are still trying hard to come to terms with life back in the top flight and their 4-2 defeat was they fourth no pointer of the campaign.
Steve Roddy fired the Dog ahead from the penalty spot on 25 minutes, and North Star's equaliser arrived in the same way on 40 minutes, when Pete Thornton made no mistake from the spot as the teams went in at half time one each.
Two quick goals within five minutes of the restart from Dan Fowler and Russell Whatley put the Dog 3-1 to the good. North Star dragged themselves back into the contest on 60 minutes when Mark Sharratt cut the gap to one goal. Ricky Trott sealed the points for the Dog with 10 minutes left with a delightful finish was saw the final score finish in the Dog's favour.
Bradford News remained rooted to the bottom of the table after their poor form away to Maud Heath Sports continues, Bradford were hoping to end the hoodoo that Maud Heath seem to have over them but it was not to be as Andy Townsend's side squeezed out a 5-0 victory over a Bradford side who created more chances than their hosts but they failed to take any of them which included two missed penalties.
The Newsmen gave Maud Heath the perfect start when John Burt headed past his own keeper to put them in front. Bradford had the chance to level but Matty Gurke had his penalty saved by Jodi Whiston. Two quick goals at the start of the second half from Neurin Jones put Maud Heath three- up and effectively killed the game off.
Jones completed his hat before Simon Hillier scored his first goal for Maud Heath to make it 5-0.
Bradford had the chance of a consolation but once again Sports keeper Whiston saved a spot kick this time it was John Burt who failed to be the keeper from 12 yards.
Holt's four match winning run came to an abrupt end as they were beaten 4-1 away at Semington Rovers who played their best football of the season to send the Mighty Otters back home with their tails between their legs.
Stewart Donohoe sweet 18 yard right footed strike put Semington in front. Good work from Bobby Mitchell saw him set up Stuart Barber for Semington's second and Barber was on target from the penalty spot for Semington's third after Dave Castle had been fouled in the area.
Semington's keeper Tom Wysocki produced a fantastic save to deny Cameron Henley before Alex Whitehall completed Semington's quartet when he rounded Holt's wayward keeper Nick Corbett to fire home from 40 yards. Rob O'Harrow replied for Holt.
