ANDY King and passenger Andrew Sigsworth were in the thick of the action at Cadwell Park at the weekend.
The Broughton Gifford pair – on their Bell on the Common backed Lumley Ireson outfit – qualified 10th for their RKBF1 and BMCRC F2 races.
Both races saw F1 teams compete alongside F2 outfits, and both King and Sigsworth excelled in the category to finish fourth overall and second in class.
A positive start was also made in their second race. They held second overall and first in class.
But that was before F2 championship leaders Charlie Morphet and Paul Halliburton challenged for the race’s lead in the closing laps.
On their LCR 600 Suzuki, Morphet set the fastest lap of the race. But they were still unable to catch the Wiltshire pair, who notched up another pair of second places in class during the final two races.
