Devizes 4 Radstock 2 A goal on the stroke of half time and another 12 minutes from time from Dan Sloan helped Devizes to a comfortable win against their Somerset opposition this evening.
After Saturday's lacklustre performance, which was enough to make manager Paul Thompson consider his position, Devizes started slowly and were a goal down after 38 minutes.
But Saturday hero Sloan struck on 45 minutes to equalise and give Devizes hope going into the dressing room at half time.
Scott Griffin and Jeremy Newton added two more before Radstock struck back with a second to add spice to the final quarter.
A second goal from Sloan on 78 minutes was enough to give home team victory and quieten some nerves.
Thompson stayed out of the dug out for the match but has told the committee he wishes to stay in charge.
