Wiltshire Cup
From the outset, the Chippenham forwards dominated the opposition.
Ed SUttle scored the first try, the first of two, in the opening five minutes and this was to set the pace for the rest of the game.
Oli Phipps scored a runaway try a few minutes later, the first of two for him also.Mike Allies added to the score placing the ball firmly under the opposition's posts which was duly converted by David North.
Suttle then added his second try just before the half-time whistle and North again converted well.
It was to carry on in the second half, which despite a more attacking style from the visitors, Dan Keat drove through the opposition and scored a try ten minutes into the second half which North converted.
Not to be outdone, Phipps again outpaced the opposition and scored his second try of the day, converted by North.
Bradford had their moments, more so in the second half when they came close to scoring but some excellent defensive work from Chippenham and some quick thinking from key players ensured they did not cross the Chippenham line.
The home side did not give up and were unfortunate not to score another try at the end of the match. For the watching coaches, the result proved that the hard work in training was now paying off.
