Bristol Combination Cup
Chippenham's U15 squad had a busy cup weekend, playing two games simultaneously and winning them both.
This was a very one-sided affair but the game was played in a good spirit by both teams. Chippenham's pre-match talk was to play a simple game and work as a unit, which is exactly what they did.
With the score at 0-50 at the half-time whistle, the game was effectively over. This gave the coaches an opportunity to make a number of experimental positional changes.
The team now move on to play Clevedon at home in the next round.

Chippenham too on Melksham CATS with just fourteen players but still managed to dominate up front and come away with a worthy win. In the first half, Chippenham had the majority of the possession and opened up the scoring with a try from forward Alex Aldridge.
Melksham responded with five points to make the half-time score 5-12. After the break, the Chippenham pack continued their domination securing plenty of quick ball for the backs to capitalise on, putting another seventeen points on the board.
A good weekend's rugby for the Under 15s, highlighting the strength and depth of the current squad.
