Melksham's Cooper Avon Tyres finished strongly to edge out Minety at the last in this closely-fought fixture.
After their excellent performance against Fairford last week, Minety's combined U13/14 team were very confident as they visited Cooper Avon Tyres on Sunday.
They started where they had left off the previous Sunday and dominated the first half.
The pack set up possession and, with straight running and some good tactical kicking, the backs were able to build up a healthy 19 5 lead by the break.
The second half was a different story as it gradually became apparent that the Melksham side had their own ideas about who was going to end up on top.
The game became more competitive and as the list of injuries mounted for Minety so the points tally began to rise for Cooper Avon Tyres.
Minety's man of the match was Andy Park.
