Bassett started strongly with two goals from Abi Iles and Jenny Jones in the first 15 minutes.
They saw the half out with some strong defending, soaking up the Badgers' pressure.
The second half started with a third Bassett goal, when Abi Iles beat the Badgers keeper to score her second of the game.
Badgers then came back and, following a string of short corners, were awarded a penalty stroke.
The stroke was slotted low into the corner to take the score to 3-1 in Bassett's favour.
Bassett responded well and scored a fourth in the final five minutes through a Jenny Jones strike, her second of the match and ninth of the season.
Next week Bassett face a friendly against Swindon at 10am at the Lime Kiln.
