Wilts & NE Somerset Two
Bassett finally realised the promise they have shown in recent weeks and easily despatched the league leaders.
Bassett went straight on the attack in this match and quickly found themselves in the lead. The trend continued with Bassett adding more goals to their tally.
Any Bath attacks were absorbed by the Bassett defence and quickly converted into attack by Luke Salisbury and Kristian Mansfield on the wings. Pete Sammon had another prolific match, adding four goals to his season total.
Man of the match Mark Turner added a further three and Matt Thompson, usually a goalkeeper, scored two more.
Wootton Bassett 2nd: I Wood (c), N Sharp, D Gardner, J Sharp, D Titcombe, M Turner, K Mansfield, L Salisbury, P Sammon, M Thompson, A Sammon, D Metson.
