AFTER ten goals in two games there is no team in the league who can deal with us when we are on top form.
We are now one game away from the FA Cup First Round and, although nobody says it, the players are thinking about it.
It is every non league player's dream to get that far and potentially play Nottingham Forest or Leeds. It is what drives you and they are games you think about, no matter what anyone says.
During the game against Bashley on Saturday we just wanted to go out and do a professional job, and that is what we did.
When it was 1-0 and 2-1 the game was in the balance but, again, we scored at the right times.
The second half performance was brilliant, it had everything and we totally dominated, the 5-1 result showed it.
Luke Gullick and Jake Reid were excellent, Aaron Cornwall and Dave Pratt gave us threats coming off the flanks and Kye Holly, Mark Badman and Scott Lye gave us bite in the middle.
Bashley are an experienced side but they were dead on their feet towards the end.
We said at half time we knew they would tire and not last the second half.
We've got a young team full of running and our fitness levels are really, really good.
The way we played has also got the players enjoying the football.
It has changed since I have been at the club. With Darren Perrin it was about turning the opposition and getting at them fast.
That is one way to play and we were quite successful, but what we are doing now is more enjoyable, even while I'm injured.
I won't be available for Saturday against Merthyr Tydfil and I am going to have to rest my heel for the next week.
It may have been a case of coming back too soon, but while the ground is still hard and dry then I am going to have a problem.
But even when I come back I will have a fight to get into the team. Adie has made it clear it doesn't matter who you are, you don't get into the side on reputation.
The Merthyr game is another chance for a cup run in the FA Trophy, which we believe we can do well in, and it gives the club a chance to get more money.
