It took 77 minutes for Devizes to show their superiorty in the Wiltshire Senior Cup against Swindon based West Side.
But when the goal did come it was a touch of class from Dan Sloan that made sure the Western League side prevailed.
He controlled the ball on the edge of the box and blasted it home.
Ten minutes earlier Josh Digby could have quieteded the home fans nerves but his shot hit the woodwork.
