The atmosphere at Hardenhuish Park on Tuesday night for the game against Tiverton was much louder - both the players and I noticed it.
It is something we want to continue and we want to get back to the same atmosphere we've had in the past.
We need to make it an intimidating ground for teams to come to.
If the fans are more vocal then hopefully it would swing a few more decisions with the referee our way as well.
The lads love it when the crowd start singing and chanting and it really raises their game.
We're going to be looking for a big crowd for Saturday's FA Cup game with Bashley.
Win it and we are only one step away from the first round. We all loved going up against Worc- ester at the same stage two years ago and we want a bit more of it.
When Bashley came to Hardenhuish Park and drew 2-2 in August they dictated the play and we know we must take the game to them.
It needs to be a better performance than against King's Lynn on Saturday.
But I didn't think we did a lot wrong apart from Ross Adams and Sam Allison switching off for the first goal, Chris Snoddy getting beaten from 25 yards and Kye Holly getting sent off.
Kye was disappointed with what happened and he apologised to us. I wanted him to rectify what he did wrong and he did everything we asked on Tuesday against Tiverton.
They are always physical games because it is a local derby. Right from the off their number nine, Carl Cliff-Brown, was giving Dale Peckham a hard time and stamped on Kes Metitiri when he was on the ground.
Ross went to hospital with a cut lip.
I'm not sure if he was caught with a flailing arm, but he is a tough lad, will come through it and should be fine for Saturday.
I know a few people might have been questioning Jake Reid but he has put in a lot of work so he was looking a little bit jaded a couple of weeks ago so we took him out of the firing line and he has come back with all guns blazing and got a great goal on Tuesday night.
We have got young players here who are still learning their trade.
It can be a tough process both mentally and physically and it can be difficult for them to perform at a high level week in week out. This is a very hard league to adapt to and all of them will need time and patience.
Swindon Supermarine have put in seven days for Tom Etheridge but he is someone I want to keep.
He has battled back from a cruciate knee injury and while he recovered he travelled with the squad and never got paid.
The way he has played this season is a testament to how he has fought back.
