Chippenham Town are two games away from a potentially massive FA Cup First Round game, which has left their players drooling.

While the Bluebirds have still got to overcome Bashley at home in the third qualifying round on Saturday, it has not stopped them dreaming.

Vice captain Kye Holly said: "If we get through on Saturday we could be drawn against a side low on confidence and then we have every chance.

"The first round would be brilliant for the club and the players. They almost played Huddersfield on TV last time they got this far and to play a big club live on Sky would be amazing."

Teammate David Pratt agreed with Holly and is excited about the prospect of an extended cup run.

"Saturday is a big game, the FA Cup can get some money for the club and hopefully we can move one step closer to the first round," he said.

Pratt will be hoping to start the tie, following a man of the match performance in the 5-1 hammering of Tiverton Town at Hardenhuish Park on Tuesday, "I have had to adjust to this league because it is faster and stronger, everything is that one step up so I have matured," he said, "I'm getting better but I have got to improve my fitness. It's not 100 per cent and something I have got work on."

The 20-year-old former Swindon Supermarine star is yet to get a consistent run of games for the Bluebirds, but is sure he made the right decision after his summer transfer.

"It has been the best move to make, no one is guaranteed to start but and it is great to know because it keeps you on your toes," he said.
