WILTSHIRE'S Tommy Bridewell returns to Bennetts British Superbike Championship action this weekend as his Movuno.com Halsall Racing Team travels to the Snetterton circuit in Norfolk.
Etchilhampton's Bridewell is keen to build on his previous progress and top 10 results in the series on his Suzuki GSX-R1000 to climb closer to the sharp end, as the championship regroups after a six-week break.
“It’s odd because the break is so long that I’ve almost gone into off-season mode, so I’m looking forward to getting back out there and focusing on the racing,” he said. “It seems a long time since I was on the bike, but I’m really excited to get back and start pushing harder.
“Snetterton is a strange track for me in as far as it’s not one I particularly like, yet I’ve had some strong results there.
"I always tend to go well there and I’m confident that once we’ve sorted a few things out in the early practice sessions, we should be able to make some strong progress.
“I’m excited to get back with the team and get stuck in.
"With the break out of the way it means we can focus on the season ahead and look to get closer to the front where we need to be.”
