DEVIZES delivered one of their best performances of the season as they held GoCrea8 League Conference North leaders Robinsons to a 2-2 draw.
The visitors started strongly for the first quarter-of-an-hour, eventually finding a way past the excellent Aaron Holloway in the Devizes goal to make it 1-0.
But going behind ignited the home side, who created plenty of scoring opportunities and corners.

The second half began as the first had ended, Devizes dominating the leaders and taking the lead, which they defended well despite injuries and sin-binnings, only to concede a late equaliser.

In East Central One, Chippenham B lost 4-0 to Swindon A, while Devizes A romped to a 12-1 win at West Wilts B, Nick and Rory Sherman sharing six goals and Felix Plant scoring twice, with further strikes for Jack Gompels, Alex Carter and Kofi Pegdan.
Chippenham C team’s yo-yo East Central Two season continued with a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Shepton Mallet B, Rick Law on target for the home side.
IN THE West Clubs Women’s League, Chippenham are still searching for a first home win of the season in Premier Division 2A after a 3-1 reverse to Gloucester 2.
Marlborough were unable to build on a 3-2 half-time lead against county rivals West Wilts as they slipped up 4-3 at home in the East Division, Jess Pugh and Lottie Colquhoun on target.
In Wessex Division Two, Devizes’ second string beat City of Bath 3, Hellen Edwards scoring twice and Seren Church the other in a 3-1 success.
