CHIPPENHAM are still looking for their first GoCrea8 League Conference North point of the season after a 2-1 home defeat by Bristol UWE on Saturday.
The home side conceded in the last couple of minutes to slip to their third straight league defeat, despite having the majority of possession, Craig Kilminster scoring his third goal in as many games.
Devizes drew at home for a second time, being held 2-2 by Firebrands A.
Marlborough continue to set the pace in Central One after a 5-1 win over Firebrands B, while Wootton Bassett picked up their first point with a 3-3 home draw with City of Bath A With Dan Jeffery, Will Fieldsend, Mark Tolley and Rob Appleby making their first starts of the season, Bassett hit back from an early set back as Rob Appleby and Jake Nunns turned the tables, only for Bath to level the scores once more.
Mark Turner put Bassett ahead again in the second half but they were pegged back once more.
Chippenham A drew 1-1 with Westbury & UB B in Central Two, Henry Price on target.
In East Central One, Wootton Bassett A were 6-0 winners over Chippenham B but Devizes A won 2-1 at Team Bath Buccs F. Marlborough A drew 1-1 with Yate A.
Chippenham C were thumped 9-0 by Bristol University D in East Central Two, while the D team lost 6-0 to Shepton Mallet B and Corsham were 1-0 winners over Yate B. Wootton Bassett B lost 3-1 to Team Bath Buccs G.
In the West Clubs League Premier Division 2A, Chippenham’s ladies are still looking for their first win, after a 8-1 humbling at Redland UWE.
There was a 6-0 defeat for Marlborough at Mendip in the East Division, while Devizes lost 6-3 at West Wilts.
Verity Langfield scored a first-half hat-trick as Marlborough 2nd beat Chippenham 2nd 3-1.
