CHIPPENHAM continued their push towards promotion from GoCrea8 League Central One with a workmanlike 2-0 win over Robinsons B.
Luke Morris opened the scoring with a touch in at the far post from a penalty corner and Mark Knight made it 2-0, beating two players at the top of the circle before firing low to the left of the keeper.
Chippenham are seven points clear of North Somerset with five games to play.
In East Central One, at Swindon A, Chippenham A took a while to get going with Henry Price opening the scoring. The home side levelled but Jack Stanley made it 2-1 to the visitors at half-time.
Price added his second after the break as Charlie Bixley and Harry Elias, twice, completed a 6-1 victory.
Chippenham B lost out 4-2 to North Wilts despite goals from Andy Edwards and Adam Wheadon.
In East Central Two, Chippenham C did the double over leaders City of Bath C, Nathan Borman and Neil Stewart on target.
Chippenham D faced Bath Buccs G, losing 6-1 despite a Bilhar Lehal strike.
Corsham were beaten 7-0 by City of Bath B in East Central One, despite good performances from Jacob Trask and man of the match James Garrett, midfielders of Richard Trask and Aaron Bessell, frontman Tom Styles and goalkeeper Durry Maule.
CORSHAM Ladies lost out 4-1 to Chippenham 2 in their West Clubs League Wessex Division One battle, Lucy Stanley on target for the visitors.
