Corsham finished sixth in the Premier One Division after they were unable to put the brakes on Taunton St Andrew’s successful survival bid.
Pete Dennett’s men suffered a crushing 125-run defeat on the final day of the season last weekend as their Somerset hosts safeguarded their status in the top flight of the West of England Premier League.
Corsham won the toss and put their opponents in to bowl first but Taunton’s James Regan hit 95 to put the home side in control.
Keith Parsons weighed in with 56 while Martin Jenkins added 32 and despite Jonathan Parker taking three wickets, the hosts posted 267 before they were dismissed midway through the final over.
Nick Eggbear (3-42) then piled the pressure on Corsham, whose openers could only manage ten runs between them before Mike Coles stepped in to top-score with 35.
The visitors continued to struggle, with Ashur Morrison (22) the only other batsman to come close to a significant contribution as Corsham were all out for 142 in little more than 27 overs, with Luke Poole taking 3-29.
