WILTSHIRE remained in the hunt for the Unicorns Championship Western Division title as they ended the day 61-2 replying to hosts' Shropshire's 332-9 at Whitchurch Cricket Club yesterday.
Neil Shardlow's men, who need to win and gain more points than leaders Cheshire to take the title, saw Shropshire opener Steve Leach score 126 and Ryan Lockley add 53 in the home side's total.
By the close, Wiltshire had lost opener Jayden Levitt and wicketkeeper Adam Miles, with Ed Kilbee and Ed Young at the crease going into day two.
