CHIPPENHAM Town's board of directors will meet tonight to discuss the direction of the club in the wake of last night's humiliating defeat to Stourbridge.

The Bluebirds, who had two men sent off, slipped to an embarassing 9-0 reverse at Hardenhuish Park and in a statement on the club's official website, chairman Neil Blackmore confirmed that the future of manager Steve Winter and the current playing squad would be up for discussion.

He said: "I would like to apologise to both the fans and volunteers who work for the club for last night's performance.

Again, indiscipline and poor attitude on the pitch have cost the club.

"Please be assured this will not be allowed to continue. There is a meeting of the board tonight, at which this problem will be addressed."
