Volunteers have given Cricklade Pre-school a new look by creating a colourful outdoor mural based on the children’s artwork.
They used the children’s own artwork as the basis for the mural at the pre-school in the Old Library, Bath Road.
They then painted the children’s playhouse and decking.
The work was done by nine members of the Midcounties Co-operative Loss Prevention Department in Swindon as a community project.
Nursery supervisor Ruth Guy said: “We are very grateful to the Midcounties Co-operative for coming and giving their time to the nursery.
“The whole team worked really hard to transform the nursery and we couldn’t have done it without their help.
“The work they have done has made such a difference.
“The children at the nursery will be really excited to see a mural of their artwork when they come back to school in September.”
