Experts from the Ridgeway private hospital in Wroughton teamed up with Boots in Marlborough on Friday to give sun screen advice and to check moles.
Around 30 people had their moles examined between 1pm and 4pm.
Free free sun cream samples for adults and children were also given out to raise awareness of skin cancer and being safe in the sun.
Leaflets from Cancer Research UK about how to look after skin in the sun and what to look out for when checking skin for moles were also available.
The hospital was also promoting its own mole clinic in which the latest technology is available to examine moles.
