A 38-year old man was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries in the early hours of this morning.
The man, who is beleived to be in a serious but stable condition, was taken to the Great Western Hospital after the police were called to a disturbance at a house in Lennox Drive, Swindon at 1.35am.
A 33-year old man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with grevious bodily harm.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have heard or seen anything to call Swindon Gable Cross Police Station on 0845 408 7000.
