Only a handful of tickets are left for the star studded concert at the Kings Arms pub, All Cannings, this afternoon.
The show is raising money for cancer charities and features musicians including Brian May, Kerry Ellis, Midge Ure, The Sweet, Mike & The Mechanics and Tom Robinson.
Rumours of other big name appearances have been circulating and the concert website today included the statement: “Certain artist’s contractual obligations with other events in the south west means we are not allowed to announce that they WILL be performing at this concert.”
A spokesman for the Wadworth Visitor Centre in New Park Street, Devizes, said: “We have two books of tickets left, with 50 in each book, and must be collected.”
Organisers had originally said that no tickets will be available on the concert site but some will now be available at entrance ‘B’. They have to be paid for by cash or cheque with a banker’s card.
Anyone wanting to pay by credit card must go to the brewery’s visitor centre, which can be contacted on (01380) 732277.
The entertainment starts at 2pm with the Dave Kelly Blues Band and goes on until 10.30pm with more information at www.concertatthekings.co.uk
