Chippenham man Daniel Stiles will lose his driving licence after being caught on his mobile phone at the wheel.

Stiles, 21, of Patchway, was spotted by police on New Year’s Day driving while taking a call from his office. He pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at North West Wiltshire Magis-trates’ Court on Monday.

Magistrates endorsed his licence with three penalty points, taking him to six overall and meaning his licence will be revoked by the DVLA.

He was also ordered to pay £170 in fines and costs.
