Estate agents Strakers raised over £600 for Help for Heroes at a property auction last year.
One of the items up for bids at their December sale was a hamper of food donated by members of staff.
Tim Hancock of Strakers said: “The employees donated money to buy the hamper and we auctioned it at the sale.
“It went for £500 and, with the sale of Help for Heroes armbands, the entire amount raised was £605. We have an office in Wootton Bassett and the scenes of repatriation are all too familiar to us.
“So we were delighted to be able to raise this amount of money for a very good cause.
“We hope to do something similar later on this year.”
Help for Heroes’ volunteer co-ordinator David Bartholomew accepted the cheque at Strakers auction office in St John’s Street, Devizes, on Tuesday.
