A century of hard work by Red Cross volunteers in Chippenham was celebrated on Friday at the opening of a rose garden.
Long-standing volunteer Ivy Ward officially opened the garden in Ivy Lane, where she appealed for former members to get in touch to receive an invitation to a centenary party in September.
She said: “The rose garden is just one part of our celebrations, and we are having a party for all current and former volunteers in the Neeld Hall.”
The garden was donated by Chippenham Town Council, and town Mayor Sandra Oakes joined Mrs Ward at the ceremony.
