Royal Air Force officer Rachel Housby is flying high after graduating from a prestigious military college.

Ms Housby, 24, graduated as a Flying Officer at RAF Cranwell, near Sleaford in Lincolnshire.

Rachel, whose parents Stephen and Mandy still live at Devizes, attended Dauntsey’s School and the University of Reading where she read economics.

She joined the RAF in November last year and will soon begin her professional training with the Personnel Branch.

She is a former member of Oxford University Air Squadron and enjoys tennis, skiing and sailing.
