More than 100 children descended on Lacock to make model desert islands among other sea-themed creations at a fun day organised by Wiltshire Scrapstore, a children’s charity based in the village.
Children’s author Neil Griffiths, from Purton, who has just launched his book Albert’s Tuneful Trunk, read stories. Organiser Glenys Cosgrave, said: “Everyone enjoyed it, including the adults.”
